Community events series

Maven Bridge is supporting the Dying to Know movement to share information about Death and Dying. We start with the annual Dying to Know Day event.

Let's work together to Bridge the knowledge Gap about death and dying. The certainty of an "end", holds so much fear. A Maven Bridge EOL community workshop provides an opportunity for community to join us in a relaxed environment and to explore beliefs, fears, and talk about practical steps in end-of-life planning.

Based on heart-centred conversations about the End of Life journey these workshops help participants to identify their own values and access information and resources that will empower their EOL decision making.

Community

Q&A Panel Session, our guests asked those questions they had been "dying" to ask!

Our guests had plenty they wanted to know and our knowledgeable panel really engaged with the audience as they shared information and stories that helped shed light on a range of subjects. We stayed on for a cuppa and more information was shared.

It was a great day at the free community event at Bellfield Community Hub! A day filled with conversations and information about death and dying. This in-person event was a safe space to ask questions, share stories, and learn more about a topic that affects us all. Whether curious or just wanting to connect with others, our particpants enjoyed great conversations, breaking the taboo and talking openly about something that's a natural part of life.

The national Dying to Know Day was the perfect opportunity to get the conversation started about Death & Dying

Workshop: Death & Dying - "from fear to empowerment"

This was a Maven Bridge EOL workshop designed to step people through the 3 key stages that will replace fear with empowerment, and support heart-centred decision making about death and dying. There was great interaction between the guests and some great discussions throughout the workshop.

The key to the day's success was the relaxed environment and plenty of information.
